Edit a Phase

Editing a drafted phase

Select the phase in the project's Drafted section to open the Manage Testing Phase page, then edit its fields under the General tab.

To rename the phase, hover over its name on this page — a cursor appears and you can click to edit. Clicking away or pressing Enter saves the new name.

Editing an active phase

Select the phase in the project's Assigned or Optional section to open the Testing Phase page, then select View Progress. You can change an active phase without cancelling it, and testers keep the results they have already submitted.

• General tab — edit the setup instructions, move the end date of the testing window, and turn Include Regression Tests on or off.
• Test Cases tab — select Edit to edit, add and reorder test cases. See Test Cases.
• Members tab — use Add Members to add more testers.

While a phase is active, you can't delete test cases, remove testers or change the start date. To do any of those, cancel the phase to return it to Drafted.
